Although not specifically designed for Hamilton, this sculpture was originally placed at the entry, but since moved to a less visible part of the complex. It plays with the idea of a multi-dimensional universe derived from quantum mechanics and is, therefore, an early example of a sculpture inspired by physics and mathematics.

Designed for the entry of Hamilton, this combines a utilitarian function with sculptural form. Its form is derived from expressing mathematical equations in 3-D space and transforms something cold (steel) into something warm and organic with its supporting columns in the form of sensuous tree trunks. Although the canopy has been since removed, one of the tree trunks has been installed at the water bar at Villa Otto.
